Most read article on the BBC News site. MS aren't really winning on the pr front.
What makes it worse is that Microsoft are using the very same malware techniques they warn people about..."Never click "Agree" or "OK" to close a window that you suspect might be spyware. Instead, click the red "x" in the corner of the window or press Alt + F4 on your keyboard to close a window."

Big shame about Windows Phone. Jumped on that wagon over 12 months ago and like it but will be moving to Android again soon as the app gap is becoming a pain.

Too be honest Microsoft has signalled its lack of interest in its own platform recently by developing more apps for Android and iOS than its own mobile platform. If Microsoft can't be bothered, the end is nigh....

Must be what got my daughter, she was quite angy about the forced upgrade and specially that it kicked off in the middle of her watching something on youtube.

I had windows mobile 6.5 on an HTC HD2... then found a guide on how to install android on it and never looked back. The only windows phone to have interested me was the 41 megapixel Nokia 1020.
