If every new game came with a DRM expiry date that would be nice so I did not need to consider pros/cons of each platform. Uplay, Origin should have DRM expiry to differentiate themselves from Steam. Halfway between Steam / GOG. Unfortunately I learned from app stores to always distrust FREE.
When I am force to consider pros/cons GOG wins and everyone else looses. Enough back catalogue for me without needing to suffer the BS.

Free games, EA on Origin, Ubi and even Steam sometimes throws a freebie. Why is DRM a problem when there is free games. It's not that hard to register and open a client to play them is it ?
I grabbed it yesterday- almost 22Gb..!
uPlay isn't actually that bad of a client, through offers and free stuff I've got about 20 titles in there - don't think it'd handle 500+ like Steam does but it's far less resource-heavy.
Might give it a blast tonight if I get chance
