Was tempted by a Lumia 950XL that was reduced to £289 and included the display dock however that offer was rapidly withdrawn. Probably good really as Windows Phone is dieing.
Still tempted to get a Samsung 55" UEKS7500 which has come down another £100.

I got some Xmas presents for the family with the discounts going, as I can't be bothered with rush buying closer to Xmas. I bought 12 months of psn plus since cdkeys.com had it going for one whole pound cheaper than usual! (£34.89).

i got a 12" pizza for £3.99 as a special offer at a new takeaway that just opened. not bad considering the pizza hut large deal is £5.99 and local chippy would be £7

never saw anything particularly tempting which was lucky as i'm skint. but i got one of the new nowtv boxes for £25 on thursday, with the built in HD freeview and an underwhelming 11 sky channels, to which if you aren't interested in sky1 or sky stlantic it's nothing exciting. the movie bundle may be more interesting i suppose. i got 3 months 3 subs for entertainment but used the 14 day free trial initially and then found a £1 a month for first 3 months offer so took that and i'll use the 3 month code later

i also got a 9" windows 10 tablet earlier in the week for about £42.50 with a discount code which i thought was pretty good. it's like the lynx 7 i have but bigger screen. i'd been after a 10" windows tablet for a while, and i was after the nowtv box for a while so never bought anything i wasn't ultimately going to buy once i'd seen a good price

i vaguely recall i never bought anything on the day last year either. in a months time there will be similar if not better deals. anything i'm vaguely interested in i keep a mental note of the price and don't buy it until it's that price or below, unless i really want it

I got some Clarks shoes that I was after for £40 down from £50. I've been watching the price of them for a while, and find it hard to get the size 12's I need in the style I want.

We bought a 55" UHD TV. And because it doesn't have component input, I told my wife that we have no choice but to get a Wii U as an upgrade to the Wii. Sadly by the time I got her consent the Wind Waker pack went out of stock at Amazon.

Edit: Ended up buying Xenoblade pack. Overall haul is TV + Wii U + refurbished Galaxy S4 Mini. Total cost around £2000 (most of it for the TV).

Unravel and Need for Speed, Couch games.
Would have been an absolute disaster for wallet if I could have certain items shipped here to Australia.
Was seriously looking at Sony Z9D 65inch and a Denon X6300H receiver to replace my 10+ year old tv setup.
