Old puter - still good enuff till I save some pennies!
Surely some clever boffin can make a Bluetooth headphone adaptor which has a headphone socket to connect your own choice of headphones to and link wirelessly to your phone? This would leave the USB-C socket free for charging and still allow the use of your own headphones.

It should be possible to DIY that. One of the cheap wearable tech dev boards with bluetooth will be enough brains and you can raid a cheap phone power bank to get a small lipo, only potential issue I see is the DAC. Getting it into a small & convenient case would also take some effort

Copycat of the Xiaomi Mi Mix bezel-less phone idea. Except that Sam#### has thrown in the extra cost of the curved edges, which is nice to look at but a nightmare when it comes to protection from drops. Not to mention that it has at best questionable utility - even years after it was first introduced.
It appears that the Mi Mix has thrown down the gauntlet to all the flagship phones. All phones should be bezel-less as far as possible in order to give us the largest screen in the smallest phone body. All buttons can be on-screen or on the back or edges. Which is why I have been holding on to my LG G3 as it has one of the largest screen to body surface ratio of recent devices.
Sam#### and LG would have an edge in this new paradigm as they have their own factories making the world's best displays. I would wait for all the other manufacturers to show their hands before making judgment.
No 3.5mm audio jack is a total turn-off for me. Its not just for earphones like everybody says for heaven's sakes. When I travel, my selfie-stick trigger depends on that jack! Also, my Blazr external LED light also plugs in to that -priceless for video and photo shots in low light!
