From a 'theme' perspective anthem but the problem is it's from EA so it's likely going to have some issues when it comes to the 'value for money' proposition.

I don't know which games. Previously I've really enjoyed SniperV2, Skyrim and Watchdogs. I enjoy WD because it's contemporary; not only drug gangs and gangsters to bring down, but the use of hacking and surveillance to undermine authority. So I'd say, detailed open world, complex challenges and multiple means of attack or infiltration. Imitating real life (as much as possible).
Honestly my Steam catalogue backlog has grown enough that I think I'll spend my year playing the games I've already got, but haven't had the chance to play through yet. Anthem looks "interesting", but it certainly isn't going to earn a pre-order considering it's published by EA.
Last of Us part 2

Farcry 5
Gta 6!!
Holla!
There is nothing noteworthy on my radar, I'm kind of burned out because of the battlefront gambling debacle. I think 2018's purchases will be composed of indie stuff entirely for me. Movies = 'Ready Player One' is the only film I want to see, which i'm more excited about than any games
The ones which spring to mind are:
Cyberpunk 2077 (which won't release until next year, but a guy can dream...)
Metro Exodus
Call of Cthulhu
The Sinking City
Pillars of Eternity II - Deadfire
Agony
The Last of Us, Part 2
Kingdom Come: Deliverance
Scorn
Total War Saga: Thrones of Britannia
Total War: Three Kingdoms
Anthem looks like something I might enjoy, but's a EA game so there's no bleeping way I'm spending half a penny on it.

Well I'm not a gamer so nothing really.
Detroit: Become Human.
Last Of Usart 2.
These are the only 2 on my radar at the moment.
Dizzy 13. Been waiting for it since the 90s. One day they'll finish it.
Batman: Arkham Insurgency - if that's actually a thing
