I wonder if publishers will ever get that drm hurts consumers but never pirates.
I'd be fine with a new game release if the publisher / developers set a DRM expiry date from the outset. I could then spend up front with confidence and not have to wait for the lowest sale price to compensate for the lack of openness. Call me old fashioned but when I buy something I generally want to keep it.

If IRDeto's statement of expanding Denuvo to encompass online cheating that's something i could get on board with, that's the main reason i don't buy most multiplayer games these days.
