Is it just me that sees the Intel vs AMD graph as Intel improving and AMD losing even more market share?
The same applies for AMD vs NVIDIA.

I thought that at first also so dug a little deeper, the graph shows from September 2016 to February 2018 so the monthly change is so small you can't really see it.

most of these results are based on Chinese mofus as the dominant language is chinese, so simply this is for china and doesnt reflect other countries.

IMO, china and india should be excluded or posted into separate charts as 10% of china/india dominates the entire steam users base.

The graphs go back around 18 months, you need to look at the last 2 data points to see the changes referenced.

Re: Steam Hardware Survey shows AMD CPU and GPU progress

People really should stop looking at this survey, at least until Valve allows seeing results by region.

64% of the people on the survey are using Simplified Chinese. Unfortunately AMD has little or no presence in China. Most of the changes from month to month are simply a result of the number of Chinese people surveyed on that month, which varies from month to month. There was a drop of 3.46% from last month, which I'm sure accounts for the rise of AMD.

Re: Steam Hardware Survey shows AMD CPU and GPU progress

Can AMD fangays stop crying over China and India? The CPUs are worse than advertised by reviewers and months later, people still complain about issues and incompatibilities.

Intel and Nvidia will always be more powerful and reliable. 6 years old i7 still overclocked, still playing the best titles out there at 4K.
