I don't buy phones in the ranges of a grand. Got to be a mug to spend that much on a phone.. I know it's not just The Galaxy Note9, but yeah it seems like this needs to be echoed till people see it as not right.
I don't know if it was intended, but I think Apple/Samsung kept releasing the latest phone back to back fast enough to peak to such prices, and obviously people kept buying it because people wanted the very latest latest phone, now they release phones barely with any major differences and expect people to spend that much. It's crazy in my opinion and we as consumers are enablers.
It's a bit like the graphic cards market! At least in the phone market you can choose a different brand, give another company a shot and create competition.
