I know it isn't the point of a heatsink, but that looks like they had a competition for the ugliest design. It looks like an aquarium pump
MSRP of €119
.....
For that price, I imagine most people will just go with an AIO or Noctura.

The screw-though design is a good idea, be nice to see that catch on.
lol holy hell that's a lotta money. I really like it, all black with only a touch of RGB, I think it might be the first time I've seen something RGB that isn't gaudy.
I'm very much an Intel person, just waiting for AMD to match em in the IPC and I'd switch over in a heartbeat.
I dont trust CM AT ALL when the vastly overrate (have for a very long time) the specs on their PSU, various coolers (that can really only "safely" handle 150w but spec them for 180-220w levels) various cooling fans that they spec for less then 20db and yet are far far noisier than others rated for 25db as an example, running similar or even worse CFM)
There are many companies out there that are worse, granted, but they (CM) do not rate/spec their products as they should (in the real world like they should be doing) so I really do not believe them in this regard, it would really suck to pay the big bucks for a massive cooler to find out it is barely able to tame stock tdp levels (I really wish Intel, AMD, Ngreedia and others stopped using tdp ratings which are very rarely achieved in the real world average use scenario..we use the computers in real world, not in a perfect lab test)
I like the way they exclude the weight of that monstrosity. I'd be very dubious about attaching something that large without a backplate. I'd also be far more inclined to go with an AIO like Thermaltake purely to keep the temps in better check.
If you took the RGB off, it would be OK. reminiscent of the Bark Rock series
Society's to blame,
Or possibly Atari.
