In case you didn't already know, that Poco phone unfortunately has no NFC so no G-Pay etc. I would have got one otherwise.

Yeah, spotted that. It's a minor downer on an otherwise cracking looking phone (other than the slightly less legitimate availability in the UK), but I figure I use NFC on my current phone so little it's probably worth it, for me.

Its kind of weird as my sub £200 Huawei has NFC. But TBH the Poco phone has an amazing spec for the price,but so do many Asia specific phones. People know about the Xiaomi Mi A1,but even look at the Huawei phones:

So the Honor 9 Lite is considered excellent value for money,but in other parts of the world the Y9 PRO is a similar price but has far better specs,ie the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage version is similar price and even has dual SIMs and an mSD card tray,not the hybrid ones we get here.

For me this means a better deal on a Pixel 1 or 2. Phone prices are getting crazy now...
