They're nice and if money were no object I might get one (and a new house and a GTR), but it isn't so I won't - my next phone is likely to be a grey import Poco F1.
Its kind of weird as my sub £200 Huawei has NFC. But TBH the Poco phone has an amazing spec for the price, but so do many Asia specific phones. People know about the Xiaomi Mi A1,but even look at the Huawei phones:

So the Honor 9 Lite is considered excellent value for money, but in other parts of the world the Y9 PRO is a similar price but has far better specs,ie the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage version is similar price and even has dual SIMs and an mSD card tray, not the hybrid ones we get here.
overpriced and undesirable features (plus lack of some of my must-haves). Does not meet my criteria = no purchase.
Loving the 'extra notch' bug, as highlighted by The Verge.
For me this means a better deal on a Pixel 1 or 2. Phone prices are getting crazy now...
