I regret not waiting longer before ordering the SSD, due to today's much better Crucial MX500 2TB SSD deal.

Specifically today:

• Gigabyte RX Vega 56 GPU
• EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G3 PSU

I regret not ordering the Sapphire Vega 56 Pulse when Amazon matched the price, so the Gigabyte being on offer today at eBuyer seemed like the closest I had to a second chance. At least it comes with some games too.

The PSU wasn't actually on a deal, as it has actually been cheaper back in June according to CamelCamelCamel, but I needed a newer PSU to power my new GPU as my current one is almost nine and a half years old.

I had only really planned on buying External HDDs, Powerline adapters and an SSD if they were to end up on sale, the GPU was just too tempting after not pulling the trigger on the first chance I had.

Altogether, the SSD, GPU and PSU mean that I'm only a few steps away from a proper upgrade (i.e newer generation CPU, Motherboard and RAM) when I decide I want to take the plunge, and should last very nicely for a number of years.

Sure, my CPU might be a bottleneck in certain games with that GPU in the meantime, but I think it should be worth the performance sacrifice until then.
