I hope it falls in decent price point for me. I've been holding back on my new build here for new GPU card. It's a toss between this and AMD Navi cards.

I feel your pain. Luckily I am a middle class 58 year old so stumped for a 2070 at a shade under £400. However, anyone looking to build just now faces putting 50% of the cost on the GPU. I even thought about going back to a 1070 monitor.

What a ridiculous name, an 1160 made far more sense...

My guess is this silicon still has the neural net processors in it so it can do anti aliasing, and they want to make it sound like it is half way between an 11 series and a 20 series card. Which means someone had to stand up in a meeting and say that nonsense out loud, and then other people had to agree with them in order to get the ridiculous name adopted.

It feels to me like a company believing its own hype, detached from customers, not a good sign.
