Scientists have proven, studies have shown. This is an evidence-based assertion.
But we would have to calculate the threshold of muscle development through holding the phone versus the muscle development of repetitive motion to quantify how long you would have to perform the extracurricular activity for equal development of both limbs!

    Frankly, that just sounds exhausting!

Whilst I don't have it with me I did calculate the energy in Joules stored in a normal 3AH battery and compared that to a hand grenade - it was quite a large percentage of a (small) fragmentation grenade or a flashbang's energy. I then asked the question whether you really want so many Joules next to your Jewels. I expect that the energy stored in this phone would well exceed that of a hand grenade. Obviously it would also never fit in your pocket unless you're a kangaroo.

As for "landing on the shelves". You'd probably use a stack of these to mount the shelves on. Just wear eye protection when drilling into them....

As for the muscle development theory, this isn't going to work. You're essentially comparing weight lifting with a rowing machine / treadmill. You develop muscle differently so you'll have one arm that's a weight lifter and one that's a.... rower.

    Lol, wut?
Firstly, I doubt that any Mr Universe has ever needed to do such a thing, so you won't either.
Secondly - Switch hands. Basic rule of muscle building, what you on one side you do on the other.
Thirdly - Switch hands. Totally different experience. Like sitting on your hand until it goes numb, but with a reduced risk of carpal tunnel.

Is it a conversion-table friendly percentage, ie 75%, and is it linear?
So for example, if a 3AH battery is 75% of a grenade, is a 1AH battery 25% or summat?
Basically I wanna know where an 18650, AA and AAA all rank on your grenade power table, given how commonly people carry those in their pockets.

The Maxpedition Mini pocket organiser fits in all my cargo pockets and most of my coat ones - This thing would easily fit!

Wrong axes of motion. Up and down, not back and forth. That's for when someone else is the target of your extra curriculum!!

It's linear as you're just converting AH to VAH and then to Joules and then you take your 'nade and convert that to TNT and then to Joules.

From my scribbles in my notebook from some time ago you're looking at 60g of TNT (a small grenade or more likely a flashbang, which would still rid you of your Jewels) contains ~267,000J. I calculated the energy contained within a 16AH cell / battery on the same page at 213,120J. So basically you're looking at carrying the energy of a small hand grenade within this thing, in your pocket.

As for whether it'd fit, yes. It would fit in my combats. It would probably also pull them down at embarrassing and inappropriate moments.

I actually doubt they'd let you take this phone on a plane.

Go sit on the train from Reading to the Lake District.
Then wait around for everyone else to arrive in the car park at the beginning of the walk.
Then go man a checkpoint while waiting for each person to pass through.

There are lots of possibles by which to get utterly bored outdoors.

If Im away from a charging point for any length of time, I just carry a power bank and charging cable.

But it isn't just the amount of energy, it the rate of release. An explosive releases its latent energy very quickly eithe as a detonation or a very fast burn, a LiIon battery is unlikely to detonate, although I concede that an internal short would be fairly spectacular.

Technically, I think the lithium ion battery conflagrates rather than explodes. The effect on the local skin would be spectacular either way. A poorly directed vent from a lithium battery containing this energy would rid you of your manhood quite readily, of that I have no doubt.

The Energizer P18K Pop smartphone IndieGogo project needs a few more backers.

So far it has only raised £2,000 - with a goal of £911,000...

Re: Energizer launches the P18K Pop, an 18,000mAh smartphone

The Energizer P18K Pop IndieGogo project hans't been a success. As The Verge reports, "Avenir Telecom asked the world for $1.2 million in funding, but it received only $15,005"... Perhaps its early-bird price of $549 was rather too high.
