It also doesn't apply to porn sites that don't make money strangely

1st country in the world to dream this up. Only country in the world to realise how stupid this is. Oh how stupid the UK is.
Surely also this will be a gateway to stronger darkweb porn?
I'm pretty sure this is a longer term plan to ban VPNs. They need a justification and so what they do is move certain types of porn into the illegal category (no one is going on the news arguing about their weird fetish porn being taken away) and then also put in a system like this under the guise of protecting kids. They know people will try and get past it with TOR and VPNs and then you can say "criminals are using software called VPNs to access illegal pornography and bypass child protections" which will be the first step in getting public backing for a ban on them. The ISP logging laws are already in place and logs are accessible by everyone, including if I remember rightly, the food standards agency....
So how many posters here actually think they will be affected by this?

Not me, I don't use anti virus so never visit any dodgy sites as part of risk mitigation. Some might say that's stupid but so far I've not had a single virus by taking such precautions and I always used to have issues with AV software no matter what I used. All I do is occasionally run an online free scanner.
IDK who the Toris are () but internet censorship in the UK is a bipartisan thing, both main parties fully support pornography age checks, Labour's support dates back to at least 2013, in fact it could be argued that the Conservatives adopted the idea from them.
If there are people who go on Jeremy Kyle and openly admit to some of the things they claim, before then accusing their errant father of their child of even more vile things, then it's safe to say people who are only a little kinky need have no shame in protesting!!
With that mentality - Criminals use cars to escape justice... BAN THEM!!!
So as long as I use the cucumber, banana, aubergine and whipped cream in a certified-sanitary environment, my food fetish pron is perfectly good to live-cam, yes?

No problem - They do a variety of "hands-free" Bluetooth™-connected devices, which sync to the video and react accordingly. Makes for great general multitasking too, though it won't surprise you to learn that I've yet to get it working properly in Microsoft Flight Simulator...

Criminals using cars.... well, they actually banned cops from pursuing motorcyclists and scooters in London. What happened was that the lovely little dears got on bikes so they could get away without being chased. Pressure from the motorcycling community (who were sick of having bikes nicked for use in crime as well as being given a bad name) led to them knocking the little.....darlings off and trashing the bikes. Which didn't go down well with Dianne Abbott. She was promptly told to shut up and go back to learning to count.
Food pr0n is just fine as long as you label allergens in bold.
