Asrock X399 TaiChi is doing the job for me. Very happy with it.

Gigabyte Z97M-D3H for many, many, years now. Really happy with it. It copes will all the drives I have attached, five in total with two being SSD's. It's probably running 5 days a week, never has heat issues, despite also being used to run a BOINC client.

Re: QOTW: Which motherboard are you using?

EVGA X299 Dark. It wasn't really a choice because I won it in a giveaway, but I'm very, very happy with the features and performance - it runs my 7800X at 4.9 without breaking a sweat. The bios is easy to navigate, and the board looks awesome too. The only thing I wish it had was a USB-C internal header for my case. Other than that, it's got all the expansion I need.

I don't know if I'd purchase it with my own money, but that's more because Skylake-X isn't a good value for the money. Having a solid motherboard is important to having a good experience with your custom desktop, and the Dark series is definitely solid.

Still sitting on an ASUS Z97 Pro Gamer, that I have won here in a competition, paired with 16GB G.Skill and i7 5775C. Working with no issues, only now I wish to get a new graphics card and should last for another few years.

Re: QOTW: Which motherboard are you using?

    Gigabyte Z270-HD3P.

It's been a finicky buggy thing, probably the worst modern motherboard I've had or fitted for anyone. Current BIOS isn't too bad but the first year or so was quite irritating.

I'll be going back to either Asus, AsRock or MSI next purchase I think and have done the same with machines I build for others already.

MSI P67A-GD65 (B3). One of the strongest motherboards years ago, but now it's a must due to presence of PCI slot

Re: QOTW: Which motherboard are you using?

Gigabyte Aorus Z390 Ultra: Very happy, amazing board with super feature set and very fast. Only critique is that Dual Bios is NOT easily user selectable but can live with that.

Re: QOTW: Which motherboard are you using?

    GIGABYTE ITX GA-Z77N-WIFI LGA 1155
I bought it in Sep 2016 for 95GBP on Ebay. It was very difficult to find an ITX motherboard for my 2600K with a chipset that could let me overclock. I didn't want to buy a new system, and I had downsized from a Corsair Obsidian 800D to a Dan-Cases A4SFX, so needed a smaller motherboard.
