I'm with Plusnet also. My problems are mostly with the router which isn't playing some of the time. I get a decent service and their customer service people know enough technical stuff to make me happy I'm not talking to a scripted monkey.

Well I hope that means our local villages will soon get a useable mobile signal. It's not as though we are remote,. (a few miles from the old Severn bridge)

My sister on a mId Devon farm has absolutely no mobile signal and only 0.5Mb on the internet. Fibre to the cabinet in the local village would be enough to sort the internet for a number of people there and should be within that cash limit.

But would fibre to the cabinet fix it at a reasonable cost? I know someone where there is only 3& of the village connected to tinternet. They get just under 1 meg down. As nobody is bothered, and the estimated cost to BT is approx £100,000 (according to them) it isn't going to happen. Ever...
Old puter - still good enuff till I save some pennies!
