Re: QOTW: Which chassis are you using?
I've been using a big Coolermaster case for the last 5yrs or so. I can't remember the model but it wasn't cheap & its a great case. Its got its third build inside it but its about to be retired as its now too big for my needs & I'm going to build a new machine in a Bitfenix Micro ATX case.
Re: QOTW: Which chassis are you using?
I'm still using my trusty old Antec 300 Gamer enclosure, it's about as basic as a case can get but still does the job.
Re: QOTW: Which chassis are you using?
Thermaltake Core V1 on my current desktop.
I was was comparing cases for my first Mini-ITX build and decided the larger size would be easier for my big hands to work in. Also, the power supply is mounted below, instead of shoved in right above the CPU, restricting airflow, and there's room for it to be full-sized ATX, so I didn't have to pay twice as much for a smaller supply. Having just one big, slow fan in front keeps it very quiet. I didn't care about windows or lights, especially since the case fits nicely inside one opening of an Ikea Kallax, with enough room to stick a finger alongside to hit the power button.
My next SFF build might go with a similarly-sized case, but I'm going to plan for at least a modular power supply, if not a smaller one. All my excess power cabling is just stuffed underneath, right now. I'd also rather not have a badge on my case. I could pry this one off, but the grille is recessed for its irregular shape, so the result would be worse.
Re: QOTW: Which chassis are you using?
CM Stryker for my main rig which is getting on a bit now, waiting for 3rd gen ryzen to upgrade it gonna keep the case as I love the space.
Just upgraded my media centre to a phanteks p350x wasnt sure the missus would like the RGB in the living room but to my surprise she did and has now changed it from subtle to unicorn vomit mode.
Re: QOTW: Which chassis are you using?
Lian Li PC-B25FB
Used it for the last several builds. Though must admit that I have modded the case somewhat over the years (side panel fan etc.).
I like Aluminium cases. Always cool to the touch.
Re: QOTW: Which chassis are you using?
I'm still using the Corsair Vengeance C70
Re: QOTW: Which chassis are you using?
Corsair Obsidian 750D Airflow Edition. Loads of space and cooling which is what it does well, a shroud for the PSU and HDD's could have been an improvement over the removable bays, but that's not a deal breaker. It shows it's age against the new tempered glass trend, but I still like it enough to not be tempted to change it yet.
Re: QOTW: Which chassis are you using?
CoolerMaster HAF-X. I'm not willing to lose casters or space for 10 internal harddrives on my next build so the options are limited. ThermalTake Core W100 seems the only alternative.
Re: QOTW: Which chassis are you using?
Fractal Design Define S2 in white. Really pleased with it but want to put decent WC loop in.
Re: QOTW: Which chassis are you using?
Fractal design define r6 gunmetal
Love the look and enough space for my loop
Re: QOTW: Which chassis are you using?
Fractal design nano s, an upgrade from my previous fractal core 500. Simple, no messing about cases both of them. With planning they have sufficient airflow for a great itx build
Re: QOTW: Which chassis are you using?
Main machine lives in a Zalman MS1000-HS2 case. Second machine is in a Corsair Carbide 300R. However, my mindset has started to move towards space saving and there is a huge amount of unused space in that Carbide case. So I'm looking to replace it with an Intel NUC machine, in the near future.
The Zalman will stay as, despite me consolidating it's 3 hard disc drives in to one 6GB drive, recently, so the 6 hot swapable bays aren't exactly needed, it is absolutely whisper quiet.
Re: QOTW: Which chassis are you using?
New rig built in December 18' inside the stunningly good looking, and brilliantly modular, Fractal Design Define R6.
Along with solid state nvmes and ssds, a touch of water cooling and the quietest fans I literally cannot tell the thing is powered on :D

Cooler Master Trooper: https://www.newegg.com/black-cooler-...82E16811119245
This case has gone through multiple builds since 2012. This case was overkill. The lights for the start button and fan buttons no longer work. I thought the switchable fan design was a cool feature at the time. Now I don't. Really wish you could move the fans in the other direction and the ability to have fans in the front also.
I'm in the process of wanting to downsize to a mid-tower. So far no luck on finding one that meets my standards. I am very picky about cases these days. Still waiting for reviews for some cases with mesh fronts and how well the air flow goes.
Re: QOTW: Which chassis are you using?
My main is the Corsair One. Love the design and form factor, but I imagine upgrading (when it comes to it) will be an interesting challenge.
I've also kept my previous PC, a Silverstone Sugo SG05 (noisy little thing that it is).
