Fractal Design Define R5 - I don't need/want flashy colours or see through panels. The R5 is very easy to work with, good air-flow and plenty of Sata cages.Although not wedded to Fractal they will be my 1st port of call for the new build later this year.
I have 3 me built PC's and when tech moves ahead, sufficiently,I build a new one from scratch and donate the oldest.I mean, having 4 PC's would be,like,so silly.
Still with the SilverStone Raven SST-RV02B-W
Fractal Design Define R6. Love it, very happy with it. Only thing I'd change, make it about an inch bigger in every dimension, would make water cooling options go from good to excellent.
I don't upgrade case with new builds. My last case, the original ThermalTake Armor, lasted me over 15 years. Things have gotten much nicer to build in and a lot prettier since 2000~!
Thermaltake core P5
Still looking a chassis for kids build, but looks like it will be Meshify C
Corsair Obsidian 800D. I got it almost 8 years ago when I built my first X79 system. Internals have been upgraded on a couple of occasions and some mods were made to accomodate my custom loop, a second network card and a couple of others like a second radiator at the top (yes, on top of the case itself xD).
To be honest I just upgraded the GPUs to 2x2080ti and I'm waiting on a X299 mobo+cpu+ram order to arrive, and was considering to upgrade the case as well, but I have no idea on what to choose. The 1000D looks nice but is not cheap.
