Re: QOTW: Which keyboard and mouse are you using?

For a keyboard, I use a modified cashew nut which is linked to an Arduino and USB controller. Chewing on the nut creates input. Input (in the form of a$, b$ and maybe even c$) is influenced by alcohol. Alcohol is influenced by the offers Morrison's happens to have on that week. Therefore, my primary PC HID is a woman with a trolley full of cider who isn't looking where she is going.

My mouse is Frankinstine's monster's head and neck with the bolts wired to a PS/2 port. Because Lenin's head was behind too much bulletproof glass.

    Hic.

    Corsair K70 RGB MK.2 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard = 10/10
Corsair Dark Core RGB Wireless/Wired Gaming Mouse = 9/10 (thumb button positioning needs some work but reprogramming the keys sorted things out)

Have had 2 Roccat Kone mice in the past, both failed after 13 months and Roccat couldn't have cared less! Interestingly they both failed the same way, pressing the mouse button gave a double click not a single click! Will never buy Roccat again!

Keyboard: Microsoft natural ergonomic keyboard 4000
14 year old and still kicking, the best ergonomic keyboard ever made imo.

    Mouse: Logitech G500
10 year old, a solid mouse!

Both will probably be replaced only if they stop working.

Mr boring average K70 and a Razer Deathadder from year ago. Boring but solid choices.

Keyboard: Some MS curvy thing, years old
Mouse: Logitech MX518. Also many, many years old but still going strong.

Neither get very much use these days.

Work Mouse is a Logitech MX Master, picked it up for £40 on one of those Amazon days, very comfy and responsive. I especially like the clutch on the scroll wheel, so you can quick-scroll.

Asus ROG Claymore with Logitech G903 on a Powerplay Mat, After around 3 Razer Chroma keyboards that all failled (the last I broke across my knee in frustration). An expensive and ultimately reliable solution. My only gripe with the Claymore is that the keycaps and the num pad detatch to easily!

EG Element gaming aluminium RGB, only cost £17 and very heavy so doesn't fly off the desk, coupled with a Gigabyte ECO600 Laser Mouse Wireless (batteries last for ages in this)

    ErgodoxEZ with Cherry Clears

    And a Kone XTD Optical.

I'm interested in trying out philehidiot's cashew nut system - but I just don't like nuts.

I use an old Microsoft Habu mouse at work, the right button double-fires frequently which is why I replaced it at home, but it's a very nice mouse otherwise.

Re: QOTW: Which keyboard and mouse are you using?

Razer Blackwidow Chroma 2014 and Razer Deathadder Expert.
After nearly 5 years of 10 hours use a day the blackwidow is having some problems and a guy I know is selling me a Corsair K90 for 50$.

Re: QOTW: Which keyboard and mouse are you using?

Keyboard: Thinkpad Compact USB keyboard. Pretty much ideal keyboard for me. I use Thinkpad laptops a lot on the go and having the same feel, layout and trackpoint at home is amazing. Got it for £12 from CEX and it was in perfect condition

Mouse: Mad Catz RAT 3. Has lasted me over 5 years, and only a few days ago the middle wheel button stopped working. They don't have a great reputation but I enjoyed using it and if they were still available, I might have ordered another one. Ordered a Corsair M55 Pro RGB as a replacement.

Re: QOTW: Which keyboard and mouse are you using?

For a keyboard I am using the cooler master masterkeys pro m. This is a great keyboard for me as it includes a numpad even though it has a smaller for factor. It also uses standard size keycaps which is great for when I replace them.

For my mouse I am using a Logitech g703 . Got this on sale on Amazon and it has been pretty good so far. Works better than my previous g403 and now I can't live without wireless.
