Open Shell can fix that I hope.

I don't think any single part of any windows 10 looks good. people had better control with windows 3.1 for colours and how it looked.
ermmm, this actually looks better than tile crap we already have
Ever since Windows Aero was phased out, Windows looks (Admin edit) poor.
I don't spend £5k on a PC to have monochrome crap like this.

I haven't had that card in 2 years but yeah, my 3.5Gb POS nGreedia card LOL
Isn't the Verge still teaching liberals how PC is built from the ground up ?
I agree, that new twitter interface must have been thought up by a twit as it is the worst.
I thought there was something wrong like a glitch - to start with I refreshed, then changed browser and kept getting the same dysfunctional looking page.
When I see a change like this my first thought is that someone behind a desk (an executive with absolutely no idea) decided to leave their mark on the business and change things - but they forget that change is not always good or for the better.
Wonder who thought that was a good idea???????
As for the windows change, don't think that is all that bad - OK it is OK for touch screens, but I never really liked the tile system for desktop use - I prefer a clean looking start screen on a basic colour background - even my icons are grouped into folders so they are easy to find without a mess all over the screen.
The biggest difference between Windows and twitter is that I can customize the start screen in Windows, but I cannot do anything about twitter.
Too many flashy tiles which uses unnecessary PC power, so I switch back to a more useful older GUI.
I see Windows Mail hasn't been dumped, there is so much wrong with the program that I am not going to attempt to list any of it. When one of the " Microsoft Techies " explained that the WHOLE URL ADDRESS popping up on every item, picture, Gif, text, link, was a " BUILT-IN FEATURE" I knew then that all hope is lost, and we will all be using Mac's soon as it looks like Windows has been sold on to a company that has no Engineers.
Yes, I moved to Mac a while back. With an OS based on Unix it’s solid and stable, and being Unix based interfaces well with Linux based equipment.
The GUI is stable and doesn’t change much with various iterations in a pointless attempt to keep up with some self imposed fashion, and the OS major updates are free.
Of course, it won’t suit everybody and it’s not ‘perfect’ but biodiversity and choice are good! Each to their own.
