Unless Sony can release the Xperia 5 in compact form, they don't have any competition at present.

I consider it to be bad. Phones getting improved upon over the years has made it less of an impact, but now I'm not why most people wouldn't keep their phones for more than 2 years since they seem to have reached a point where they are more than capable. I have had app issues on family phones newer than kitkat, and no-one seems to talk about whether it's a massive security risk being outdated or not. I don't understand the limited support, windows supports their OS for like a decade, is it really hard to support mobile devices for longer if you take 30% of sale from basically every app.
For ios the support seems better but not perfect, and I do have other issues with the platform. It kind of makes me wish windows phone didn't flop.
Pricing: $399 / £419 (for 64gb model, others largely similar)
Several states have zero sales tax. I always make a trip to the malls in southern New Hampshire when I go to Boston for work. The benefits of a cheaper phone are possibly outweighed by the loss of warranty, however, since Apple only warranties the iPhone in the country of purchase.
Thankfully the wife travels to Portland usually once a month so when the current situation ends I might get her to pick me one up to have a play with. Still very happy with my iPhone 11 though, having upgraded from an XR. Prior to that every iPhone I used (& I've tried them all) just seem slow & cumbersome compared to Android flagships.
Bear in mind that even the most heavily sales-taxed state is still levying less than 10%.

Although its faster than my 6s, I've resisted the temptation for now, its pretty likely to be my next phone though as I don't want a huge phone.
Its on the shortlist thats for sure.Originally Posted by [GSV
