Lets hope some prices decrease this time round...

I doubt it, I stopped buying Nvidia because they are over priced (which all graphics cards are btw) so I only buy AMD cards now, normally about a year or so after release when the prices go down a bit. I got a sapphire pulse RX 580 8GB for £123 (new) a year and a half ago, it's been a great buy.
