My guess. Cheaper than 20xx series.
Nvidia has seen that AMD, offering a combination of better specs at a similar or even better price (e.g.
the 12c24t R9-3900x vs the 8c16t i9-9900K @ £/$ 500) has battered Intel (duh) and are not willing to see themselves in the same situation, therefore they have decided to simultaneously cut prices and raise performance across the board.
i would not be at all surprised if a 3080 cost as much as a 2070 did at launch, along with a serious game package.

I think it'll depend on timing and inventory levels - if AMD don't have a card out, or they are putting most of their GPUs into consoles and don't have a lot to sell to the PC market, then nVidia will be able to charge high prices and AMD will be happy to keep the margins high on what they have left to sell anyway.

Now when AMD have stocks of a competing product that'll be different, but I expect that'll be the situation early next year more than this one.

The price will be the issue. It would be very expensive, I think so.

I am not paying more than i paid for my 5700 XT, at least not more than a little like 50 USD

I should pay a lot less, cuz no one are making a bloody game i can play, and also with my age i will probably never be competitive in fast paced FPS games again.
BUT ! i will also take some relaxed MP gaming, and then if i get approached by a clan as i have always been, well i will just have to say THX for the compliment and turn them down.
