Hope they do it in plain black...
And can we re-size images, that one's come out a bit big...

An enhanced version of GTA V... sounds like some low hanging fruit for rockstar. That game is a money printer for them.
I prefer the less flamboyant xbox design to be honest, i'd rather something that doesn't try to stand out from the rest of my living room.
I wonder if they used the same design team as Netgear do?
It looks even worse on its side...oh well!
I missed it, was their any specs?
Jon
why make 2 versions?!
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Most PC gamers use digital distribution,so a cheaper version with no optical drive,is a good idea IMHO.
Options are good. Each route is likely to appeal to some people and the only real issue, assuming the manufacturer doesn't have strategic reasons for one or the other, is if "some" people is enough to justify the extra product line. That Sony are doing it suggests they think it does.
Personally, I like owning things though and paying a one-off cost, not a subscription .... for mot things, at least.
Re: PS5 it's probably academic for mee if that £600 price-tg rumour is correct as I don't envision paying that for a games console. Which is a shame. Maybe a discounted PS4 if stock gets dumped when the 5 comes out. Maybe.
EDIT - not entirely the ugliest device I've seen, but I'd FAR prefer something less showy, less in yer face.
A lesson learned from PeterB about dignity in adversity, so Peter, In Memorium, "Onwards and Upwards".
I'd still take the drive as I prefer physical media. Recent events proves that digital media can disappear at a whim (not looking to get into a debate here) and not everyone has good internet access even though some day 1 patches are 50GB plus these days.
I believe that digital only distribution will become more prevalent with the next gen along with the games as a service model being pushed more.
I will hold off for a couple of hardware revisions before I consider this or the Xbox Series X though.
