They told me the same about the Corsar mech keyboard I recently got rid of.... They lied!!

Well... they didn't utterly lie. You could turn the brightness down... but that dimmed all the light, not just the stuff spilling out the sides of the keys. Bright lettering is fine. Everything else should remain dark. That's why I still use my G19.
