    1 - Yes and to be fair you can't blame MS for all of that, yes they didn't support the mobile OS (or get the dev's) as well as they should, but Nokia themselves were in a downward spiral already.

    2- Creativity and novelty comes from having he freedom to produce 'random things', there's nothing to say a big company could come out with something more creative if they were allowed to focus on the game rather than essentially paying the bills....

    1) Very different management at Microsoft now. Nokia was all Balmer fault. Nadella is a lot better.

    2) Isn't that the same with books/films/food/music?

    Since Dishonored was released in 2012 they've published 23 games (not including DLC,) of which only 1 The Evil Within,) was not existing IP.

    The Evil Within was back in 2014 and already under development when zenimax bought Tango.

    I struggle to see MS stifling the risk taking and creativity of a multinational that has released one new game series in 8 years.
