Oh good more stocks gambling. It often feels like stocks have been less and less linked to investing in a firm and more like betting real time on a random number generator.

    Or even the CryptoLottery!

Because didn't PayPal recently also announce Crypto support?

What's happened to spread betting? That used to be the way to gamble on stock prices.

Yes but a lotto you only lose 10s of pounds at the most. I've seen enough posts pop up to see people have lost life savings on stocks and its only got worse since these new stocks apps have arrived. The number of people who lost out massive amounts of cash on gamestop recently is terrifying.

I'm so adverse to this sort of investing I wouldn't even have a pension if I could figure out a better 'tax efficient' way.

Same if you buy 10s of pounds of stocks. Unlike say spread betting, when you buy shares you can only lose the amount of money you bought them for.
