Taiwan market: DSLR stands out in sales performance

They're expensive, but oh my are they nice. Digital SLR cameras: loads of people want one, and it seems that in Taiwan at least, people are buying them.
Sales volume of DSLR (digital single-lens reflex) models in the Taiwan market has been increasing fast and may exceed 40,000 units this year, approximately double the sales volume recorded in 2004, according to local DSC (digital still camera) sales agents.

Canon and Nikon together account for 90% of the DSLR sales volume in Taiwan, the sales agents indicated.
