Pinnacle Studio 10.5 software update - jury still out

Pinnacle Studio 10.5 software update (full version) - released February 14, 2006

We include below information about this updater, which Pinnacle says should be installed by all users of all versions of Studio 10. However, judging by what users are saying on Pinnacle's own Studio 10 support forums, a number of problems still remain after installing the 10.5 patch, as exemplified by a thread called, "Survey on S10.5: Thumbs Up or Thumbs Down".

We've been reluctant to mention this update until there's been a substantial amount of feedback and would have been sitting on it still had Pinnacle not sent out a press release about a new version of Studio - called Studio Plus Titanium Edition - which is claimed to combine "the award winning Pinnacle Studio Plus with the latest functionalities of v.10.5, as well as Pinnacle RTFX Vol 1 package, a set of 25 additional video effects."
