    The problem with the cooler is that its one more thing to carry around. It kind of defeats the portability aspect of a laptop.

    Never wanted kids anyway...




    I can't say I'm a fan of using laptops/notebooks, anywhere other than a desk really anyway.

    If you don't have to carry it about all the time - stick the laptop on top of a hardback A4-size book - helps keep up the airflow if it's not on a table.

    It's nothing new. I remember getting distinctly warm knees from my then new laptop in 1993!
