But, at CTS this week, he seems to have struck gold, taking home a product he can actually write a story about.
On the downside, as seems inevitably the case, this freebie is still something that's destined to be given away - or thrown away if no one will take it.
at least they state the current requirements on the packaging, more USB devices need to do that imo!

3dfx used to give out the usual stuff at shows, t-shirts mouse mats and the like. At one show with a load of Playboy Bunnys at their stand they apparently gave out 3dfx branded condoms.
Best freebies I like are the pendrives some suppliers etc give away.

Someone i know's dad works for Cisco and they apparently have massive clearouts (like..'we've got some old comps to get rid of..take em if you want em..') O.o what a company..
