Make and model of this motherboard, please.
There's an obvious clue.

Errrr... Asus motherboard perhaps?
It's a blue PCB.
There's a manufacturer's name on the I/O section.
I saw Foxconn, but I just assumed it was the connectors that were made by them.
They do actually make connectors as well.. although I was just being silly
I know
Hmmmm its got an hdmi port so that narrows it down a lot.
Edit: Is it the Abit IL-80MV ? (Assuming that the connecters are just made by Foxconn lol)

What's the orange port, looking like somebody's stamped on a USB port?
Edit:
Ahh... (we posted at the same time, so I'm not so stupied, honest...)Originally Posted by Odc

I thought the orange connection was the E-SATA we're starting to see on most motherboards now.
I suppose your right lol. Theres an hdmi port on my tv so I dont know how I guessed that lol
Can't be too high end since it only has 1X ethernet, but not too low end since it has firewire and e-sata (orange which I've only seen for SATA 2).
Not necessarily....I don't know of tooooo many people that use both RJ45 ports tbh .
My reasons for the P9657AA-8EKRS2H was
1. New chipset...supports Core 2 Duo....getting pretty relevant...
2. 1 x RJ45
3. Firewire on the IO, which seem to be getting phased out on most mobos but not this one
4. eSATA, although this is getting a lot more common...
My guess is still the Foxconn P9657AA-8EKRS2H....could be wrong, but I can't see anything else on their site that matches so well
Seems to be a mark of a high end board. Just beacuse it's common doesn't mean its nessesary. I mean how many people use the full horsepwer of a Mercades or BMW?
