CAL3H - Yes I remember Lanarena, it was mine! I set it up there in 2000 I think. I sold most of that business to Megabowl (along with the other 5 locations) and I left to work with Sujoy in our business that we have now. Im guessing its no longer there... I heard they closed down most if not all the centres within a year after I left.

xrob - re the desk size, Harrow has 75cm of width for each gamer... thats pretty good. There is always a balance between space and thus how many units we can fit in to the venue. If we had given an extra 10cm, we would have lost 8 PCs.

With Birmingham though we are looking at increasing the width because we do have room there, maybe an extra 10-15cms. But I think 85cms should be more than enough, even for those most camp of campers! You could always bring with you a usb keyboard minus a numeric keyboard to give you some extra room.

I used this keyboard at SGL:t and still wasnt enough room, there may not be many plays like me, i play with my keyboard on the left of my monitor and the mouse pad on the right. how i play, pretty unfortunate really, i dout i will playing much more anyway i'm getting fed up uk cs, there too many under 20's who piss around too much.
