Hull-based comms specialist Solwise is extending its line up of HomePlug mains-borne networking products with an initial four items from the VeseNET range, two of types we've not seen before.
One of the novel newcomers is an 85Mbps HomePlug adaptor with three Ethernet ports (£40.77 inc VAT); the other is a 14Mbps HomePlug security webcam (£56.48).

I bought my very first half-decent modem from Solwise. That must have been back in 1994 or maybe 1995 - think it must have been a 14400 jobbie.
Probably cost an arm and a leg but I remember the after-sales service from the company (and pre-sales, too) was absolutely first class.
Had a soft spot for Solwise ever since.
Good to note that the company's support and downloads home page has phone numbers - for pre-sales and after-sales support.
Anyone got a take on the company right now? I kind of suspect that it's still a good firm to deal with.
