Bitchfights between multinationals
Anyone that thinks this is anything other than carefully planned publicity stunts to get more exposure and hopefully sellf more consoles is mistaken. Its still funny though.

"In a perfect world... spammers would get caught, go to jail, and share a cell with many men who have enlarged their penises, taken Viagra and are looking for a new relationship."
govt funded researcher = terrible budget and rediculous taxes (i.e. a 7 million funding can end up with just 4 million, while 3 million went to the gov for no apparent reason).. I'd rather stick to privately funded research.. alot more lucrative, and less bound to various regulations, which I think its rubbish...

thats exactly my point, we already have a bunch of uneeded regulations on campus regarding life-science research, we could do less with other gov funding regulations. Obtaining funding from private medical centers are alot more lucrative and have far less restrictions to sensitive areas such as stem cell research and immunology studies (which is what I work with).
EDIT: lets get back on topic.. well, I still think its just excessive of Microsoft to be saying things like that.. I guess everyone just thinks differently..

this wasn't a press release, it was moore doing what he does - telling the truth about games as he sees it. he's an industry veteran, and what he doesn't know probably isn't worth knowing.Originally Posted by Peter Moore, Microsoft VP of Xboxness

Nice link Hex
I kind of remember reading that before but it's refreshing to re-read it now in the light of the rubbish that's been going around.
Love loads of the comments, great insight into what was going to sell well game-wise and even a couple of good lines from Bill himself
