Finger-touching-finger input device for mobiles

We're not sure how practical it might turn out to be but Yanko Design is floating an intriguing new input concept for mobiles - Finger-touching or, more accurately, finger-touching-finger.

The idea is that the wrist-strap mobile device scans your open hand to see which parts of your fingers you touch - with the three areas of each finger representing a particular group of alpha-numeric characters.
