Wahey, thats my case!!
Just a quick thought. I found that with the perspex in, the airflow from the 2 rear fans seemed next to nothing. I put the grill in, and then I could feel the air blowing out...
I like the fact that they made the window what is imo a sensible size - I hate seeing the backs of drive bays in windows.
Entirely subjective, but man they make some ugly cases. I all for function over looks and so on, but not to the point where something actually repulses me.
If I'm honest I've not seen a CoolerMaster case I'd consider since the WaveMasters, which while still looking rather nice, are dated now.
Not wanting to seem aggressive or in some way putting down the review but in the temperature tests how exactly with the CPU under load did you record any temperatures less than ambient? This is obviously impossible without the use of a TEC or a phase change cooling system. And out of interest what program/utility are you using to record the temperatures?
I need to check on that - I am out on the road at the moment with no access to my datasheets although I do beleive that CPU idle temperature is a typo on the chart.
Will double check on that when i get back in a few hours.

You are indeed right, that is a typo, according to my record it should be 21.8.
Not sure how that has happened but it will be corrected in a few moments..

I just bought this case, i think it is really great. It is perfect for big watercoolers.
I only bought it because it is almost the only one with space for 2 radiators with 240 mm!!
And it fits perfectly. It is also possible to fit the Zalman MFC2 if you remove the white stripes
on the sides of the cage.
I get watertemps of roughly 30-32°C, which is way better than before.
Webby,
Although your opening line is most thoughtful, you don't need to be quite so worried about our sensibilities!
We genuinely do appreciate it when our community members point out significant errors - especially when they do so soon after publication - cos that lets us put them right at an early stage (and what we do really care about is publishing accurate info).
Oh, and sharing the blame around, although Matt did make the mistakes in the first place, I really should have spotted them prior to publication and got them put right.
So, again, thanks VERY much for your comment.
Heh I was in the middle of something and so was typing quickly and rewrote it a couple of times but I kept rereading it and it was sounding like I was accusing you of misleading the public, so finally I settled for the not trying to offend stance
Good review Hexus and I like the pictures, it really gives you a good visual of the case.
A friend of mine has this case and I must say that the front door is seriously very strong – you could use it as a shield –
Gigabyte Poseidon Case - Gigabyte Motherbaord - AMD Athlon64 4000+ - Radeon HD 5870 - 4GB DDR-III - 22" Samsung LCD - Logitech Lazer Mouse
I say "There are no problems, only solutions
I got this case after looking at your review....
All I can say is THANK YOU I LOVE IT!
Its a lovely case and was easy enough to set up.
