    Hi all,

    A new general purpose graphing system will be in place on HEXUS shortly.

    Following that we're hoping to open up some more dynamic stuff, perhaps from 'live' pricing, or client-side input, or something else equally clever.
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();

    Not fast enough to warrant the price, people willing to spend this much money on a card should spend the extra and go for the 4870X2 or just get a standard 280 and overclock it themselfs.

    A no vote from me on bringing back Crysis into the benchmarks, that game only says how well a card runs Crysis with it's bloated engine, it's not a good reflection of a cards performance across games.

    Coming in at around the £300 mark for a vanilla card it is now 'reasonable' to consider getting them. Though it is still a very pricey upgrade as you may well need to get a new psu etc for SLI..

    i would say no to crysis as it's just bloated and not very well programmed.

    The 4870 x2 looks great and I would deffo go buy one over the 280GTX but the tempratures are worrying... anyone else concerned by a temp of 95+ ?? AMD have made a mistake releasing the card with insufficient cooling

    Does it crash? Is your system unstable under load? No? Temps are fine.

    WHen you test the games could you maybe be a little more detailed regarding the tests, e.g do tests with aa applied, also try and do a test where you max the game fully, even if cards perform really badly on those settings at least buyers will know the limits of cards they might buy.
