Nvidia has been mouthing off for the past year and this is the best it can come up with?
Forget the fact this card actually costs more than a PS3 (which is already very expensive for a console). There is just so little in regard of innovation here.
Frankly, I can't wait for another player in the graphics market to come in and disrupt Nvidia's Hegemony. Intel, you will play the role of David (for a change!) to Nvidia's Goliath.
Now make a smaller, faster, cheaper, less power-hungry, quieter graphics card. Surely it can't be that difficult?
Coming back to the entire Cat 8.12 vs. Cat 9.1 discussion, since Computebase.de benched both drivers I did the math and found out that Cat 9.1 gave an average 7.125% improvement. Now, this is an extremely crude calculation, but lets apply that improvement to Hexus' aggregate scores to get an idea of where things might be.
Radeon:
Actual aggregate marks at 1,920x1,200:
430.67*1.07125 = 461.36
Aggregate marks, normalised, at 1,920x1,200:
335.54*1.07125 = 358.87
Geforce:
Actual aggregate marks at 1,920x1,20:
471.05
Aggregate marks, normalised, at 1,920x1,200:
355.52
There you have it, again, a very crude estimation, but things look pretty close.

Worth getting 3 for tri-sli?
What about the resource hungry game Crysis ?
I would really love to see a comparison of my GeForce 8800 GT to the GTX 295.
