    For the customer, this issue has already been resolved so I'm not going over old ground again.

    I have apologised to the fact your post(s) were removed...

    We don't delete issues, the thread is still visible and resolved.

    Speaking generally, we don't want to wind anyone up and user's shouldn't try to flame situations either. We won't put up with it ! - The forum is to resolve problems not a place to try to make them worse.

    This is my last post on this thread..

    We appreciate your help, I'm sorry again if we upset you ...

    The issue I raised of him using his DSR rights was deleted, and after he'd asked me a direct question and before I could reply. It's still deleted and not visible.

    As tedious as this is becoming - The Customer original post/issue complaint is still present, I'm not going to explain yet again to you why yours and other posts were removed.

    That's fair enough, and I don't need it explaining again. But I don't agree with it, or that in that specific case, "issues" weren't deleted. The customer's query, and resolution is still there. Not all the issues raised in the thread are.

    Nonetheless, Scan are still one of the few mail-order outfits I'd buy from.

    The biggest thing to me is that one small issue has blown up and is still being discussed when it should have died off by now. And that, in my view, is not because of the issue itself or the customer's problems, but because a load of posts were deleted. In other words, it's simply bad PR.
