The only real relevant difference in detail between this card and the stock version will be the the noise level, and this tid-bit happens to be left out. :/

Can we have a bit more information on this please?

aidanjt, the part you're looking for is on the second page.

Just me that thinks they used the heat sink from a Intel stock cooler + a "cool" plastic cover?

Yeah I read that. But do you not have a sound volume meter kicking around for a less subjective measurement? Or is office noise a bit of a niggle?

Re: Reviews - Sapphire Radeon HD 5770 Vapor-X 1GB graphics card

I guess the cooler may keep the GPU at a lower temp but at least the original 5770 had a shroud that helped ensure most excess heat gets expelled out of the case. All the new cards including the Vapor-X don't seem to do this so the case temp may actually be higher.

And the Lynnefield Core i7's - Yes, the 95W CPU's get this pathetic offering as well.
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.

Re: Reviews - Sapphire Radeon HD 5770 Vapor-X 1GB graphics card

I dont suppose anyone knows the exact length of this card do they?

Need to see if it will fit in my SG06 case, the H50 i have in there cooling the CPU takes a bit of the room away!

Wish the prices of the 5770s would fall a bit more..
Tempted to buy one but considering they were available just after launch for cheaper I feel a bit cheated in doing so.
