Cool. What sort of hardware does it want you to have?

You don't need a top notch system to run it, and even my rig, moderately specced as it is had no trouble running it with 90% of the settings cranked up high. These are the minimum system requirements anyway -

Processor: Pentium 4 @ 3.0GHz / AMD Athlon 64 3500+
Memory: 1 Gb
Hard Drive: 3 Gb free
Video Memory: 128 Mb
Video Card: nVidia GeForce 7600 / ATI Radeon X1600
Sound Card: DirectX Compatible

Is this game only available for purchase via download/steam??? I remember playing the original years ago and it was great fun so would like to check it out but I'm rather Steam averse.
