Hmmm, Obsidian games messes up seemingly winning concept... where have I seen this before?

Oh yeah, I remember. Neverwinter Nights 2. Poorly implemented, none of the immersion of the original, and if you installed the first expansion it broke the original campaign - fatally. I'll be fastidiously avoiding any game that Obsidian have had a hand in from now on...

So you're telling me that this is the bunch who are tasked with creating Fallout New Vegas? I want to cry. I thought with it being back in the hands of some of the people who designed the original Fallout games, they'd produce a cracking game, but now I'm worried.

To be honest, that's probably why this is crap. They've been working mainly on New Vegas, possibly?
