wonder how these perform in SLI, and what sized bridge you'd need?

I've just contacted NVIDIA's PR for an answer to this. Will post back with their response.

And here's the response from NVIDIA's UK marketing team:
The Mafia II promotion is ongoing for GeForce GTX480, GeForce GTX470 and GeForce GTX465 so get yours while stocks last as they’ll only be available for a few more weeks. Of course, look out for more great game promotions from NVIDIA in the near future.
It's kind of vague, granted, but, reading between the lines, the promotion should be around until at least the end of the year.

    I didn't think the GTX 460 768MBs cost £165 these days!

Re: Reviews - KFA2 GeForce GTX 480 LTD OC Anarchy graphics card

Why are you recommending a 750W PSU out of interest?
Surely 550-600W is ample. Or perhaps that should be wattle.

Re: Reviews - KFA2 GeForce GTX 480 LTD OC Anarchy graphics card

Give the card a bit of overclocking love and the system pulls 530W. Having a decent 750W PSU means you don't have to worry about it running at near full load.

It's a recommendation more than a minimum spec.

Right you are. A bit of jiggery-pokery in the bang4buck table to reflect today's prices.

I guess if you're deluded enough to go for a GTX 480 then you're gonna accept that you need a high power PSU.
