When I first heard of these drives back in October, I thought I'd be grabbing one for my system (availability was meant to be November but it kept slipping). Eventually I gave in and got myself a Corsair Force 3 - I was basically looking for a decently performing SSD at a reasonable price.
I think I'm glad I didn't wait any longer, as I would have been disappointed.
Guys good effort but can i ask why havent you upgraded the M4 to firmware 08/9(one of them) as the performance increases are huge...
Not a very impressive drive really, the crucial m4 128gb is available at £140 everywhere and even less in some places so its cheaper and we know crucial drives are bullet proof (mostly ) and have a strong consistant performance that makes it best almost everything and with the latest firmware that makes it even more noticeable.
OCZ i wouldnt go for, their reputation has been tarnished enough and it wasnt because they had no control over it but its the fact they switched to cheaper chips without saying about the performance drops etc so why would we expect this to not happen in the future!.
