    I know :/

However it's the same when they test any card.

Re: Reviews - Gigabyte GeForce GTX 660 OC

Reviews are just a rough guideline these days as there are so many variations of the same GPU's! Reviews should throw in both stock and oc'd cards from AMD and nVidia for a better comparison (some reviewers already do this)... Maybe even add in versions with more memory to see how the compare too (it's alot of work benchmarking so many GPU's ).

NVidia have been doing this kind of thing for years. TWIMTBP, Physix and quite a few games that only get AA if you use Nvidia cards... its all trash and AMD have been forced into a corner where they have to play dirty and work directly with game developers because Nvidia refuse to play fair and deliberately gimp performance on systems that dont use their hardware.

This is the industry we live in.

Providing extra features is totally different. It's not like the games don't run just fine without them. Surely Nvidia can't stop AMD offering AA modes?

Re: Reviews - Gigabyte GeForce GTX 660 OC

I bought this card for my system yesterday, it runs insanely cold, currently idling @ 26C

When running Crysis 2 with most settings on Extreme(some Very High) @ 1920x1200 almost getting 60fps constant, it doesnt go over 58C!

The XFX 4870 512MB it has replaced idled at 74C, and went well past 100C on full load. (But thats XFX for ya)

I still feel it is on the expensive side, the 660's should be £130-£160, the 660Ti's should be £170-£200 imo...

Nah that's the 4870 for you Idling in the high 70s is not unusual. Getting up to 100C on load is quite impressive though, I'll grant you that. Tough old cards they were. Almost like the old 6800GTs.
