I used to think that -the thing is I want to leave a system on for longer and have silent approach.

I agree the lunch box PC market r0x at the moment.

    Fair enuff.

My system is basicly on 24/7 now while the noise can get to you some times i have grown use to it. It is a lot less then what my full system use to produce.

btw i like the review, once again Hexus leads the way

i like how they have moved to a 92mm ice system means you can mount a 92mm rad in there now....

To me is seems while shuttle are not making great leaps forward what they are doing is evolving the XPC range. In my eyes it is the best SFF pc out there by a long shot all the others seem to pale in comparrison.

I am more then happy with my move to the SN45G V2 it's been the best upgrade/downgrade that i have done in a long time.

add in the TFT i just got + the wireless modual for the shuttle and i am now a mobile lan goer , i can hop on a train to a lan, can pop round to m8's with the shuttle on my back ...still would not mind one of them dell 9100 series laptops with the 3.2ghz p4 and gig a ram and mobile 9800 but 1400 quid is a lot

Anyway i am more then happy to recomend SFF pc's to anyone, yes it's hard to justify the cost but in my eyes the +'s you get out weigh that.

    /me goes to price a fx-53 up.........how f'in much

I have the advantage of having as my main pc at one stage or another every XPC from the SS51 up to the SB81P - I have not use the 95 since I was P4 until that day.

I also have the abilty to have more then one bleeding edge PC.
