We've previously examined performance at 4K with AA turned off - http://hexus.net/tech/reviews/displa...-tried-tested/ - but even so, you can still see the jaggies when sitting up-close to a 4K monitor. This time we wanted to examine what happened when we kept the same settings as the usual two resolutions, to see how the architectures handled the combination of resolution and IQ load.
Playing @ 4k sure does bring any GPU to it knees
4K isn't there just yet and I'm completely happy with my 2560x1440p monitor.
Knowing that PC graphics cards will struggle with 4K gaming for the next year or so - I love it when members of the press start hinting that the next gen consoles will some how magically manage 4K gaming...
