Yes, the 'pro gamer' credentials most certainly are debatable. There's more to a gaming monitor than a g2g response. No 60Hz monitor can be considered even a gaming monitor, let alone a PRO gaming monitor in my eyes.
What is good, though, is a high quality TN panel in an affordable package, and they should be commended for that.

I have actually just purchased one a few weeks back and am actually really impressed with it, but I am coming from a 5 year old Samsung that was x1050 so I am easily pleased

I also got one of these a few weeks back and must say that I am very impressed with its all round performance. However, mine has a maximum refresh rate of 144Hz, so very smooth.
