    Don't see much point investing in a platform that can't be cpu upgraded at next gen already! plus if you game at 1440p e.g. new samsung range monitors with HDR then GPU limitation kicks in. So get more value for money with Ryzen 1700 and upgrade to Ryzen 2 next year which will overtake 8700k (and you've got 8 cores)
